Error "All Exchange 2010 servers in the organization must have Exchange 2010 Service Pack 3" When installing Email Exchange 2013 SP1

Hi,

When I install Exchange 2013 SP1 on new server (This server joined domain controller), at Readiness Check had a error "All Exchange 2010 servers in the organization must have Exchange 2010 Service Pack 3 or later installed. The following servers don't meet this requirement". I never install Exchange 2010 at this server before. Please help me to resolve this problem...thank you.

Hello,

The installation has detected previous Exchange 2010 entries in your active directory (not on the same server). So, check ADSIEDIT and remove the entries (if they are not required again) and proceed with the Exchange 2013 installation

Hi,

Basic on the error message, it indicate that Exchange Server 2013 Setup cant continue because it detected one or more Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 servers havent been upgraded to Service Pack 3 (SP3) for Exchange Server 2010. Before you can install Exchange 2013, all Exchange 2010 servers in your organization must be upgraded to Exchange 2010 SP3. This requirement includes Exchange 2010 Edge Transport servers.
Note: After you upgrade your Exchange 2010 Edge Transport servers to Exchange 2010 SP3, you must re-create the Edge subscription between your Exchange organization and each Edge Transport server to update their server version in Active Directory.

Do you have install Exchange server in your environment? Or join this server in an already exist Exchange server domain?
Please open ADSI Edit, connect to Configuration then expand to Configuration CN=Services - CN=Microsoft Exchange - CN=Domain Name - CN=Administrative Groups - CN=First administrative group - CN=Servers.
As your post in second post, it indicate that the current Exchange schema version is Exchange 2010 SP1, we need to remove or update to Exchange 2010 SP3.

Thanks
